V-Coats are typically two-layer coatings with alternating index of refraction, designed for applications at single wavelengths.  Not as broad as a single layer AR, these coating types are meant to target less wavelength range and have much lower reflectance.  Typical V-Coatings at Precision Optical produce absolute reflections < 0.15%.  They are extremely durable and can survive multiple GW/cm² in laser power fluence.
